Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Final Inspector for the 1st Shift in California. This role is based in Brea, CA, and offers a dynamic work environment in a leading electronics manufacturing company. The position is a temp-to-hire opportunity, providing a pathway to long-term employment.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and/or engineering specifications to obtain information such as specified material, electrical, cosmetic requirements, and workmanship instructions.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure workmanship which complies with the appropriate requirements from engineering drawings, process specifications, IPC-610 standards, J-STD-001, and customer-specific criteria.
- Conduct inspections on electrical or electronic components by using electrical meters or instruments to confirm adherence to electrical specifications.
- Inspect conformal coating under both black and white light.
- Perform and record results of first article inspections of boards after Thru-Hole.
- Perform sub-assembly, box build, shipping, and receiving inspection as required.
- Assist in failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action activities, and quality improvement projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of related inspection experience in electronics manufacturing.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and PCB gerbers.
- Skilled in electrically measuring resistors and capacitors.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and verbally at the general business level.
- Expertise in reading component values by inspecting parts.
- Knowledge of various computer programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe).
Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Benefits
It is important for this Inspector to have experience inspecting PCBA for at least 6 hours using a microscope.
Additional Details
Salary: $25 - $26 per hour
